Kompong Phluk sits in the middle of the Tonlé Sap and is not the kind of place you can really picture until you are in it.
You will move through the floating village itself — the stilted houses standing high above the water, the flooded forest, the whole settlement built around a lake that changes size with the seasons.
The tour finishes with a boat cruise out onto the open water for sunset, which is the reason we start it in the afternoon.
This is a 4 hour tour starting at 3:45pm.
